Customs generates surplus revenue of Rs.31.91m under head of customs duty

ISLAMABAD: The Model Customs Collectorate Islamabad earned surplus revenue of Rs 31.91 under head of customs duty against assigned proportional revenue target for first 15 days of November financial year 2017-18.

According to the details, the MCC earned Rs 278.71 million under head of customs duty during 1st to 15 November whereas MCC was assigned proportional revenue collection target of Rs 246 million for first 15 days of November. The MCC collected Rs 215.36 million under the same head during first fifteen days of correspondence November FY16-17 the sources was said.

The sources was told that MCC Islamabad achieved average of 56.47% by collection of first 15 days against assigned monthly revenue collection target under head of CD during November FY17-18, sources added that MCC Islamabad achieved 113% average of achievement by collection under head of CD during 15 days of November FY17-18 against collection of same period of correspondent period FY16-17.

The sources told that MCC Islamabad have been assigned revenue collection target Rs.493.60 million under head of CD for month of November FY17-18, sources added that MCC Islamabad had paid Rs.3.00 million of rebate refunds during first 15 days of current month of FY17-18 whereas the MCC Islamabad have assigned target for rewarded of Rebate Refunds amounting Rs.20.00 million during month of November FY17-18.
