SHC’s Customs appellate bench orders release of tiles consignment

KARACHI: A Sindh High Court’s customs appellate bench has ordered release of a tiles consignment while hearing a petition against recently imposed regulatory duty.

The bench was comprised of Justice Munib Akhtar and Justice Omar Sial. The counsel for petitioner/ importer, Ms Dil Khurram Shaheen advocate referred to an interim order passed by the bench allowing release of consignments of tiles with benefit from SRO 497 of 2009.
