Accused granted bail in pilferage case

KARACHI: Sindh High Court of has granted bail to an accused against a solvent surety of Rs300,000 while hearing a Special Criminal Bail Application.

Justice Aftab Ahmed Gorar granted bail to the applicant accused, Adnan, who was the driver of a vehicle destined for Sialkot dry port but was instead unloaded at Gul Plaza, Karachi.

Directorate of Intelligence and Investigations team raided the place and arrested the accused Adnan and others namely Saif-ur-Rahman, Imran, Moiz, Junaid and Zeehsan Afzal.

Ms Dil Khurram Shaheen advocate appearing for the applicant/accused sought bail on ground of consistency as all other accused including importer have been admitted to bail. The bench allowed the application and admitted the accused to bail against a solvent surety of Rs 300,000.
