LAHORE: Collectorate of Customs Preventive, acting on specific information intercepted a British national named Mansoor Aslam in International Arrival Lounge of Lahore Airport after he crossed the Green Channel at around 9:15 am during flight checking of PIA flight no.710 arrived from Manchester.
Sources told Customs Today Collector Customs Preventive Faiz Ahmad received credible information that some suspicious passengers were travelling through PIA flight which is scheduled to arrived Lahore from Manchester.
After receiving the tip off Collector Preventive Customs team deputed at Allama Iqbal Airport to enhance vigilance of the passenger arrived through PIA flight. During checking process Customs team intercepted a passenger who was later identified as Mansoor Aslam holding UK Passport No.536747765.
The detailed search of Mansoor ‘s luggage led to the recovery of foreign origin 7shotguns.The passenger is a frequent travelers and reportedly his two shotguns already detained at Islamabad Airport one year ago. The passenger is detained by Custom Preventive team for more investigation.
