JAKARTA: Team from Directorate of Drugs at National Police (Polri) Headquarters managed to thwart the drug-trafficking type of ecstasy that is circulated by the Netherlands-Jakarta international ring.
In the foiling effort, officers arrested six suspects and secured 243.20 kilograms of ecstasy drugs packaged in 120 packs, totaling 600 thousand pills.
“Six suspects and hundreds of thousands of ecstasy pills are secured. Ecstasy of Dutch network has the number one quality,” said Director of Drugs of Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim) at National Police Headquarters, Brigadier General of Police Eko Daniyanto, in Jakarta, Thursday (11/23/2017).
He said, of six suspects secured two suspects are the controllers from Surakarta and Mount Sindur prisons. The ecstasy is divided into three colors, namely orange with qp logo weighing one 0.44 grams per pill; pink color weighing 0.38 grams per pill and yellow color 0.36 grams per pill.
The ecstasy is wrapped in a clear plastic bag and then packed by the suspects in two wooden boxes. However, Eko has not specified the arrest of international drug syndicate, because Police will release the report later this afternoon.
