LAHORE: Collectorate of Customs Preventive’s vigilance cell foiled a smuggling attempt at transferring a falcon illegally at Allama Iqbal International Airport.
The vigilance squad released the falcon bound for illegal transfer to Qatar and imposed a fine of Rs 0.1 million on the accused, Najeeb Ullah, over his involvement in the illegal smuggling of birds. The Wildlife Director General appreciated the vigilance team over conducting the successful operation and efficiently handling the situation.
