FBR extends date of filing of income tax returns till December 15

ISLAMABAD:The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has extended the date of filing of the income tax returns and statements for the tax year 2017 for another 15 days till December 15, 2017.

According to a circular issued by the secretary Rules and SROs Ajaz Hussain, the FBR has exercised the powers under section 214A of the Income Tax Ordinance, and has extended the date of filing of the returns and statements for the tax year 2017.

The date of filing of returns of total income and statements of final taxation, which was November 15, 2017, and was extended up to November 30, 2017, has been again extended for another 15 days.
