Customs Preventive generates Rs 54.82m in November

KARACHI: The Collectorate of Customs Preventive has collected Rs 54.82 million under the head of customs duty, sales tax, income tax and the federal excise duty during the month of November 2017.

Official sources told Customs Today that Customs Preventive collected Rs 13.25 million as customs duty, Rs 17.34 million as sales tax, Rs 13.45 million as income tax and Rs 10.78 million as the federal excise duty during the period.

Significantly, Collectorate of Customs Preventive has collected Rs 31.32 million under the head of customs duty, sales tax, income tax and the federal excise duty during 15 days of November 2017.

Sources said that the Collector Customs Preventive Dr. Iftikhar has lauded the performance of the officials of the Collectorate in attaining the revenue targets and hoped that the officials would put up extra efforts to achieve more than the set targets. Source more said Collectorate of Customs Preventive hopeful to achieve target in the end of month.
