The land, over 700 acres, was purchased by the DHA authorities in 2015, NAB stated.

NAB has also decided to include officials of Jamshoro revenue department in the probe for their alleged role in the sale of state-owned land for DHA City.

Earlier, NAB officials had summoned the then administrator of DHA, Brigadier (retd) Zubair Ahmed, along with relevant documents. The former administrator had recorded his statement before NAB, however, inquiry in the case is still underway, sources said.

Phase IX of the housing authority, also called DHA City, is being constructed along the Super Highway, which also touches Jamshoro district of Sindh.
