LAHORE: The Pakistan Customs Collectorate of Appraisement Mughalpura Lahore launched the new software to facilitate the importers and exporters via land routes in Pakistan. Collector Customs Nasir Jameel was the chief guest in the inauguration ceremony held at the Mughalpura Dry Port Lahore.
The Pakistan Collectorate Appraisement Lahore has launched the locally made software to facilitate the importers and exporters attached to Lahore and other dry ports of Punjab. The software “Fast Feedback and Suggestion” has been made by Pakistani software engineers and is very easy to use by the stakeholders.
Customs Collector Nasir Jameel addressed the ceremony and said that this is a very happy moment for him as he launched this software. The software will help all stakeholders of the business to control corruption, and feedback from the importers and exporters will help the Pakistan Customs to take immediate action against the corrupt elements of the department, he added. Chief Guest Nasir Jameel remarked that this software will enhance the trust of the importers and exporters in the services of the Pakistan Customs and ultimately it will increase the business activities at the Mughalpura Dry Port and other ports of the Punjab.
President Customs Union Ameer Haider, General Secretary Mehmood Saeed and other importers and exporters were also present.
Additional Collector Customs Rashid Muneer, Additional Collector Ali Gurdizi, Additional Collector Azmat Tahira, Additional Collector Saima Aftab, Deputy Collector Ali Akbbar and Deputy Collector Palosha Saeed were also present in the ceremony.
Deputy Collector Sobia Kiran, Deputy Collector Nazia Saleem, Deputy Collector Asma Bashir and Deputy Collector Saqib-Ul-Rehan also participated in the event.
A Hi-Tea party was also arranged after the ceremony. A number of prominent journalists and other people from the society were also present.
