Eight Customs officers including Sarwat Tahira transferred

KARACHI: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has transferred and posted eight Pakistan Customs Service officers of BS 18-22 with immediate effect under further orders.

  1. Ms. Sarwat Tahira Habib (PCS/BS-22) has been transferred and posted as Member (Legal & Accounting-Customs), FBR, Islamabad from the post of Chief Collector, Chief Collector of Customs (North), Islamabad.
  2. Muhammad Javed Ghani (PCS/BS-21), who is currently posted as Director General, Directorate General of Transit Trade, Karachi, has been assigned to look-after charge of Director General, Directorate General of Input Output Co-efficient Organization, Karachi in addition to his own duties till posting of a regular incumbent on the post.
  3. Dr. Jawwad Owais Agha (PCS/BS-21) has been transferred and posted as Chief Collector of Customs (North), Islamabad from the post of Director General, Directorate General of Input Output Coefficient Organization, Karachi.
  4. Muhammad Asif Marghoob Siddiqui (PCS/BS-20) has been transferred and posted as Director, Directorate General of Input Output Co-efficient Organization, Karachi from the post of Collector, Collectorate of Customs (Adjudication-I), Karachi.
  5. Dr. Tahir Qureshi (PCS/BS-20), who is currently posted as Collector, Collectorate of Customs (Adjudication-II), Karachi, has been assigned the look-after charge of Collector, Collectorate of Customs (Adjudication-I), Karachi in addition to his own duties till posting of a regular incumbent on the post.
  6. Ms. Mehreen Naseem (PCS/BS-19) has been transferred and posted as Additional Director, Directorate of Intelligence & Investigation-FBR, Lahore from the post of Additional Collector, Office of the Chief Collector of Customs (Central), Lahore.
  7. Ms. Farah Farooq (PCS/BS-19) has been transferred and posted as Additional Collector, Model Customs Collectorate, Sialkot from the post of Additional Director, Directorate of Intelligence & Investigation, FBR, Lahore.
  8. Baasit Hussain (PCS/BS-18) has been transferred and posted as Deputy Collector, Model Customs Collectorate of Exports (Port Muhammad Bin Qasim), Karachi from the post of Deputy Collector, Model Customs Collectorate, Hyderabad.

According to the FBR notification, the officers who are drawing performance allowance prior to issuance of this notification shall continue to draw this allowance on the new place of posting.
