SARGODHA: The Excise and Taxation (E&T) department, during ongoing operation against vehicles defaulting on fitness certificate and illegal number-plates have challaned 256 vehicles, warned 132 and removed 370 illegal number-plates.
According to Director E&T Mushtaq Afridi, the teams of E&T department were conducting checking at various points of the division had also challaned 112 vehicles over shortage of token tax and other illegalities.
The officials also warned 132 vehicles and asked for completion of documents while removed 370 illegal number-plates from vehicles.
