MULTAN: The Model Customs Collectorate Multan has collected an amount of Rs2477.389million during first 22 days of December FY2017-18 which is Rs568.543million more revenue than it has done in 22 days of December in previous FY 2016-17.
The Model Customs Collectorate Peshawar has received an amount of Rs609.318million of Customs Duty (CD) during 22 days of December 2017-18. The Multan Customs Collectorate has been able to generate almost 71 % assigned revenue target of Rs848.860million for ongoing month of December.
The Multan Customs made the collection of Rs1860.377million revenue as Sales Tax in the first 22 days of December 2017-18. The Collectorate of Multan Customs received almost Rs80.8million of allocated revenue target of December for ongoing Fiscal Year 2017-18.
The collectorate made got a collection of Rs1383.105million of Sales Tax during the corresponding period of first 22 days of December. The Sales Tax collection has been improved during ongoing Fiscal year 2017-18 after the hike in the international prices of the High Speed Diesel during few months ago.
The Model Customs Collectorate Multan has not collected any revenue against the Federal Excise Duty during the month of December 2017-18. The Multan Customs has been assigned a revenue collection of Rs29.48million as Federal Excise Duty during existing month of December 2017-18. The Collectorate of Multan Customs generated a collection of Rs19.009million during the previous period of first 22 days of December 2016-17.
The Multan Customs received a collection of Rs7.371million as Income Tax during 22 days of December for ongoing Financial Year 2017-18. The Customs Collectorate collected 97 % growth of Income Tax during 22 days of December. However Customs Collectorate was able to collect Rs8.880million during 22 days of December in the corresponding period of Fiscal Year 2016-17.
The Multan Customs achieved almost 77.4 % revenue collection target in the 22 days of December for the current financial Year 2017-18.
The Multan Customs is confident enough to achieve the earmarked revenue target of December due to the efforts of the staff.
