LAHORE: The Special Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling will remain closed until 1st January 2018 following winter holidays a from 25 December to 1st January.
According to the notification issued by the Lahore High Court (LHC) the vacations for federal courts, including the special federal court of customs taxation and anti smuggling, the Special Court of Anti Narcotics and banking courts will start from December 25 and end on January 1st 2018. The Lahore High Court (LHC) has also issued a notification announcing holidays for lower courts.
Special duty judge will perform duties in the customs court during winter holidays. Duty judge will deal all kinds of important cases. The special court has received a duty roaster of the judges for winter holidays.
Meanwhile on Saturday there was huge rush witnessed in all courts including the special federal court of customs taxation and anti smuggling.
Number of post arrest bail pleas were scheduled for hearing. The Customs Court has also approved bail pleas of two accused involved in minor crimes. Other cases were also scheduled for hearing including smuggling, under invoicing and money laundering.
