Quetta Customs seizes Iranian diesel worth Rs6.2m

QUETTA: The Customs authorities have seized 87400-liter of Iranian smuggled diesel worth Rs5 million.

Information was conveyed by the Collector of Customs Ashraf Ali to the Additional Collector Zubair Shah and Deputy Collector Preventive Maqbool Baloch to the effect that an attempt would be made to smuggle Iran origin diesel in Hino trucks. With the assistance of FC Sibi Scouts, Custom Check Post Bolan/Kolpur darakhshan detained and recovered around 87400-liter Iranian diesel worth around Rs5 million from three tankers carrying it.
