MULTAN: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) is expected to transfer few officials of the Model Customs Collectorate Multan above Grade 18 in couple of days.
Transfers and postings of customs officers at MCC Multan might also be possible with in few days .The Federal Board of Revenue Member Customs Muhammad Zahid Khokar is preparing the list of officers along with proposed postings after comprehensive consultation with high ups, which would be forwarded to Chairman FBR Tariq Pasha for approval early next week.
According to reliable sources of Customs Today, FBR has decided to post Collector Ambreen Ahmad Tarar from Customs Adjudication Lahore to Model of Customs Collectorate Multan on her request after the transfer of Collector Saud Imran Ahmad because her husband Sarfraz Ahmad Falki is already serving as City Police Officer (CPO) Multan.
Sources told that list of Grade-19 officers along with the proposed postings is almost complete and after the promotion of Collector Saud Imran Ahmad who will also be expected to notify the transfer from MCC Multan in the next week.
According to sources, Collector Saud Imran will be posted in the Customs Appellate Tribunal (Member Technical) very soon. Few other customs officials will also be transferred including Collector Qurban Ali Khan and Collector Zulfiqar Chaudhary very soon.
Additional Collector Asdaq Afzal Sensera of Multan Customs has been nominated for six months capacity building training program. He will departed to attend the capacity building training from Federal Board of Revenue in a few coming days .The Federal Board of Revenue will likely to post Additional Collector Talib Hussain from Collectorate of Customs Adjudication to Multan Customs in absence of Asdaq Afzal Sensera.
Collector Saud Imran Ahmad has already re-shuffled the few employees at the Model of Customs Collectorate Multan for better results. Few officers are confused and they are not concentrating on their tasks due to their expected transfers and postings from Model of Customs Collectorate Multan.
