Meanwhile, Regional director anti-corruption Fareed Ahmed has written a letter to the Deputy Commissioner Gujranwala for the removal of three municipal corporation officials including two building inspectors from their posts.

Fareed Ahmed in his letter pleaded that there were corruption allegations against the building inspector Yousaf Mughal, Usman Shafiq and surveyor incharge Husnain Haider. After an investigation, allegations leveled against them were proved and all the three officials did not satisfy the enquiry officers. He recommended in his letter that as the said officials were involved in corruption of millions of rupee, they may be removed from their posts as soon as possible.
