Appraisement West generates Rs 27,423m revenue during December 2017

KARACHI: The Customs Collectorate of Appraisement West has generated Rs 27,423 million customs duty, sales tax, income tax and federal exercise duty during the month of December 2017.

Sources told Customs Today that Customs Appraisement West collected Rs 15,146 million customs duty, Rs 8,710 million sales tax, Rs 3,487 million income tax and Rs 80 million federal excise duty in December.

In December 2016, the Customs Collectorate of Appraisement West generated Rs 32,009 million which included Rs 14,436 million customs duty, Rs 12,441 million sales tax, Rs 4,968 million income tax and Rs 164 million federal excise duty.

It is necessary to mention here that during the first half of Fiscal Year 2017-18 the Customs Collectorate of Appraisement West has generated Rs 138,572 million customs duty, sales tax, income tax and federal exercise duty which included Rs 62,849 million customs duty, Rs53,616 million sales tax, Rs21,505 million under the head of income tax and Rs 601 million federal excise duty (FED).
