QUETTA: The security of Model Customs Collectorate of Quetta has been enhanced after a bomb planted on exit route of Directorate of Customs Intelligence & Investigation’s Chaman housing scheme was detected by security agencies.
Security agencies cordoned off the area and a measured and controlled blast was done, hours later the area was cleared. It is pertinent to mention that MCC Quetta had to cancel its auction due to security threats few weeks ago. Similarly, Directorate conducted a minor auction at the premises of NLC under high security few weeks ago.
