Customs Adjudication decides 18 cases of Rs13.130m in December

FAISALABAD: The Customs Adjudication authorities settled about 18 cases involving Rs13.130million during the month of December 2017.

Sources told Customs Today that the Customs Adjudication issued Order-in-Original (ONO) in favor of the Faisalabad Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO) and Customs Intelligence and Investigations Faisalabad and Field Investigation Unit (FIU) Khushab.

The sources further said all the 18 cases include seizures of cloths, Indian origin food grains, Iranian diesel, cell phones, foreign origin cigarettes, auto parts, Toyota Corolla vehicles with different registration numbers, ladies cloths and toys which were confiscated during different raids by the customs authorities.

According to a monthly statement, Faisalabad Adjudication Additional Collector Muhammad Saeed Asad decided four smuggling cases involving Rs7.250million.

Deputy Collector Asma Hameed settled 14 cases involving Rs5.880million and announced decisions in favor of the Customs Intelligence and Investigations and Anti-Smuggling Organizations (ASO) Faisalabad Mianwali, Sargodha, Jhang and Sara-e-Muhajir.
