UAE, Panama included in update FBR list for exchange of information

ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has updated the list of jurisdictions/countries for automatic exchange of information under OECD convention and now the revenue body would able to get information of Pakistanis from 101 jurisdictions.

As per the new list Pakistan would able to obtain information from Panama and UAE under automatic exchange of information. This will help the local authorities to access bank accounts of Pakistanis maintaining in foreign banks for parking ill-gotten money abroad.
