ISLAMABAD: The Model Customs Collectorate Islamabad collected an extra revenue of Rs4315.74million against an assigned revenue collection target of all duties and taxes during 2nd Quarter Financial Year 2017-18.
According to details given by Saeed Khan Jadoon, Collector Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) Islamabad, while talking to Customs Today, that the Collectorate of MCC Islamabad received Rs7853.65million as all taxes during 2nd Quarter (October to December) FY17-18 while it was allocated a revenue collection target of Rs3537.84million.
The Collector MCC Islamabad told CT that the MCC Islamabad earned extra revenue of Rs4161million of all duties and taxes during 2nd Quarter FY17-18 against the 2nd Quarter of corresponding Fiscal Year (FY) 2016-17. The MCC Islamabad got Rs3692.59million under all the heads during 2nd Quarter of FY16-17.
The Collector MCC Islamabad further told CT that, during the month of December FY 17-18, the collectorate generated Rs3338.79million extra revenue against an allocated target under all the heads. The MCCI received Rs4639.53million against an earmarked revenue target of Rs1300.79million under all the heads. The Collectorate of Islamabad collected Rs1210.75million under the same head during previous December FY16-17.
Saeed Khan Jadoon added that, during the month of November FY17-18, the collectorate earned an extra revenue of Rs275million under all the heads against an assigned revenue collection target. The MCCI got Rs1521.28million under all the heads during said period while it was allocated Rs1246.21million under all the heads. The MCCI cpllected Rs1558.09million under the same heads during corresponding November FY16-17.
He said the Collectorate of Islamabad generated an extra revenue of Rs702million under all the heads against a target assigned for the month of October FY17-18. The collectorate received Rs1692.84million under all the heads during said period while it was earmarked a revenue collection target of Rs990.84million. The collectorate got Rs923.75million under the same head during previous October FY16-17.
