Multan Customs holds ceremony to bid farewell to Collector Saud Imran Ahmad on his transfer

MULTAN: The Customs Collectorate officials and staff members hosted a striking farewell gathering in honour of recently promoted Collector Saud Imran Ahmad who has performed his services for almost one year in the Collectorate.

Collector Saud Imran has been transferred from Multan to Customs Appellate Tribunal Bench-I Lahore. Saud Imran Ahmad had joined Multan Customs as Collector on 27th March 2017 and Multan Customs performed exceptionally well during his posting. Multan Customs Collectorate achieved huge revenue tasks under his headship and done remarkable improvements in the departments which will assist Collectorate in their future tasks.

He geared up the anti-smuggling activities in the jurisdiction by overhauling anti-smuggling squad with new strategy and detected mega tax cases of smuggling including Q-Mobile, White Spirit, contraband items and others in the jurisdiction. Collector Saud Imran achieved benchmarks in the Collectorate due to its active approach. Multan Customs Collectorate accomplished assigned revenue and also collected surplus revenue.

Collector Saud Imran Ahmad stated in the farewell address that he is pleased and encouraged to see high spirits and cooperation of all officers and employees during my posting and we attained results due to mutual efforts of team work.

Multan Customs is one of the major collectorate of Pakistan and we focused on all branches equally for accomplishing desired results. Chairman Federal Board of Revenue Tariq Pasha has shown satisfaction on performance of our anti-smuggling squad.

He advised to employees to continue their job with full commitment to accomplish future tasks. He advised fellow officers to remain focused, work according to laid down procedures and also, use administrative structures to redress grievances when needed. Saud Imran Ahmad admitted that he was lucky to work in a fully compassionate and cooperative environment in his stationing and he thanked Multan Customs for farewell.

Additional Collector Asdaq Afzal Sensera acknowledged Saud Imran during his postings because he is one of the capable and diligent officers who expertise over customs laws and procedures. He worked dedicatedly on set tasks throughout his posting in Multan which assisted Collectorate to achieve revenue targets. He extended his full support to achieve many milestones in future.

Collector Ambreen Ahmad Tarar, Additional Collector Asdaq Afzal Sensera, Additional Collector Talib Hussain, Deputy Director Khial Muhammad Khan, Assistant Collector Muhammad Ikram, Assistant Collector Zohaib Sandhila, and other staff of the Collectorate were present. Newly transferred Collector Ambreen Ahmad Tarar has handed over honorary shield to Collector Saud Imran Ahmad on his excellent work in Multan Collectorate.
