FBR receives 1.4 million income tax returns

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has received about 1.4 million income tax returns.

According to weekly Active Taxpayers List (ATL), the total number of income tax return filers has reached by 1.4 million for tax year 2016. The filing of income tax returns has increased by around 30 percent when compared with 1.074 million returns filed as numbers revealed through Tax Directory for Tax Year 2015.
