Customs to hold auction of NDP vehicles & goods today

ISLAMABAD: Collectorate of Customs will hold auction of non duty paid goods and vehicles on Friday (today) at State Warehouse Main Golra Service Road.

According to the details, vehicles of different models will be offered for auction which were seized during various anti smuggling operations. The vehicles which will be offered for auction includes Toyota Hiace van, Toyota Sadan Saloon, Toyota Land Cruiser, Mercedez Benz protected car model 2003, Mitsubishi Pajero model 2005, Toyota Land Cruiser Model 1996.While huge quantity of ladies fabrics and different kind of auto parts will also offered for auction.

The interested persons are required to bring their original CNIC and other necessary documents. Any person without holding CNIC will not take part in open bidding of goods and vehicles.

Sources told that customs authorities are optimistic that they will achieve handsome revenue through auction of these goods and vehicles. Sources told that due to auction strategy customs Collectorate authorities are optimistic that they will achieve revenue collection target assigned by Federal Board of Revenue for current Fiscal Year of 2017-18, the sources concluded as saying.
