KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia, reports the Financial Express. The company is urging the DGAD to initiate an investigation on the import of textured and tempered glass, whether coated or uncoated, coming from Malaysia.

The existence and impact of alleged dumping will be investigated. The period between October 2016 to December 2017 is to be taken under consideration for the investigation, and then the amount of ADD to be levied would be recommended. The glass import in question is refers solely to solar glass, low iron glass and high transmission glass. If the result finds instances of dumping of Malaysian imports, then the finance ministry will likely levy a duty. India is currently passing through several trade conflicts, and the concrete results are yet to be announced. However, domestic manufacturers got a slight relief in a new fiscal budget 2019.
