Farewell lunch served in honor of Dr Tahir Khattak by Collector Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: The Customs Collector MCC Islamabad gave a farewell party in honor of Dr. Tahir Iqbal Khattak on his posting to MCC Peshawar as Deputy Collector Dry Port from the IDP Margallah.

The Collector MCC Islamabad presented a souvenir to the transferred Deputy Collector. During his speech, Zulfiqar Chaudry, Collector MCC Islamabad, said the collectorate will always remember Iqbal’s services for the Customs Department.

Ishfaque Amhed, Additional Collector, MCC Islamabad, in his address, said that, during his tenure, he found Dr. Tahir Iqbal a hardworker and good officer of the Customs Department.
When contacted, Ali Asad, Assistant Collector, Benazir Bahtoo International Airport Islamabad, remarked that Tahir Iqbal is a lively person and frank customs officer with full of life. He added that Tahir always guides his colleagues as a brother and help them as an elder coworker. Tahir Iqbal worked at the MCC Islamabad for two and a half years.

He joined MCC Islamabad as Assistant Collector Preventive at Headquarters and Law Branch. He also served in the Export Section of the Air Freight Units Islamabad and then was transferred as Deputy Collector, Margallah, Islamabad Dry Port.
Awais Agha, Chief Collector North, Chaudhry Zulfiqar, Collector MCC Islamabad, and officers of grade-17 and above also participated in the farewell lunch.
