Kuwait’s embassies consulates aboard mark Nat’l Days

KUWAIT CITY: Kuwait’s embassies in Ukraine and Brazil, and its consulates in the Italian city of Milan and the Pakistani city of Karachi marked Friday country’s 57th National Day and 27th Liberation Day, as well as the 12th anniversary of His Highness Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah’s ascendance to office.
Kuwait’s Ambassador to Ukraine Rashed Al-Adawani extended congratulations to His Highness Amir, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and the Kuwaiti people, wishing Kuwait further progress and prosperity.
During a reception on this great occasion, the ambassador stressed the deep-rooted relations between Kuwait and Ukraine, according to an Embassy statement received by KUNA.
In Italy, Kuwait’s Consulate in Milan celebrated the country’s national days. Consul Abdulnasser Boukhaddour received well-wishers, guests, senior officials and representatives of diplomatic missions in Milan and North Italy.
In a statement, the Consulate said senior Italian officials, representative of government in Milan Francesco Garcia, Milan’s tourism official Roberta Guarnieri, Milan Air Force Commander Silvano Frejerio, director of tax authority Giovanna Alessio, Milan’s police chief Roberto Campisi and others were present in a reception held in Principe di Savoi Hotel.
In a speech, the consul offered congratulations to His Highness the Amir, His Highness the Crown Prince, His Highness the Prime Minister and the Kuwaiti people on this delightful occasion.
He extolled the excellent and distinguished bilateral relations between Kuwait and Italy, which have recently witnessed a remarkable development, including prosperous trade exchange, as well as many cultural and artistic activities and fields.
Meanwhile, Kuwait’s Consul in Karachi Mohammad Al-Khaldi held a reception attended by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, some parliamentarians and officials of the Pakistani Foreign Ministry (Karachi office), heads and members of the Gulf and foreign consulates, military leaders, security officials, political and religious leaders and prominent economic figures.
On this occasion, the consul extended congratulations to His Highness the Amir, His Highness the Crown Prince, His Highness the Prime Minister and the Kuwaiti people.
He prayed to Allah Almighty to protect Kuwait and its people, and to maintain security, safety, stability and prosperity of the country under the wise leadership of His Highness the Amir and His Highness the Crown Prince.
In Brazil, the Kuwaiti Embassy held a reception marking the national days that was attended by Brazilian Sports Minister Leonardo Picciani, development, industry and trade minister Marcos Jorge as well as Undersecretary for Africa and Middle East Political Affairs in the Brazilian Foreign Ministry Fernando Abreu and other officials from the Brazilian government.
