ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court has dismissed an application filed by the Sharif family seeking reevaluation of wealth tax on their shares in various companies.

During the court proceedings, counsel for the Federal Bureau of Revenue (FBR) informed the bench that the matter regarding wealth tax had already been finalised by the apex court back in 2001.
