QUETTA: The Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) Quetta collected an extra revenue of Rs2616million as Customs Duty (CD) during first eight and a half months (July to 15th of March) FY17-18 against the same corresponding period of FY16-17.
According to details explained by Ashraf Ali, Collector, Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) Quetta, that, during above said period, the MCC Quetta generated Rs6042.872million of Customs Duty (CD) while it received Rs3425.958million during the same previous period under the same head.
The Collector Quetta told CT that, during 15 days of March FY17-18, the collectorate earned Rs309.497million under the head of CD against a revenue collection of Rs219.595million under the same head during corresponding FY16-17. It was told that the collectorate generated Rs703.544million CD during the month of February FY17-18 while it did Rs435.229million under the same head during the same previous FY16-17.
It was said that the collectorate received Rs854.172million of CD during January FY17-18 whereas it did Rs533.069million under the same head during the same corresponding FY16-17. The collectorate earned Rs912.948million as CD during the month of December FY17-18 while it did Rs491.913million under the same head during the same previous period.
Ashraf Ali told CT that the Quetta Collectorate fetched Rs890.670million CD during the month of November FY17-18 against Rs445.603million of CD during the same corresponding period. During October FY17-18, the Quetta got Rs854.174million CD during October FY17-18 against Rs447.160million CD during the same previous October.
The MCC Quetta collected Rs442.850million as CD during September FY17-18 against a revenue collection of Rs357.629million under the same head during the same corresponding period.The collectorate earned Rs648.736million of CD during the month of August FY17-18 against Rs309.210million collection under the same head during the same previous period. During the month of July FY17-18, it generated Rs426.281million as CD against Rs186.550million under the same head during the same corresponding period.
