All LTU, IR & RTO to remain open on 24rd March

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) issued a notification no: C.No.1 (137)/STM/2017 according to which all Large Taxpayers Unit (LTU) and Inland Revenue along with all Regional Tax Offices will remain open on 24rd of March.

The notification which is issued by Secretary Revenue and Judicial Khurram Ali Qadri, all field formation of Federal Board of Revenue remain functional on Saturday for collection of outstanding dues. This step is being taken to facilitate taxpayers.

According to the notification all the chief commissioners will ensure the attendance of all officers and staff. No casual leave may be allowed prior will be treated as canceled.

Sources told that Federal Board of Revenue adopted a comprehensive strategy to enhance revenue collection measures. FBR is quite optimistic that they will achieve revenue collection target of current Fiscal Year 2017-18.
