KARACHI: The Customs Export Collectorate has registered contravention case against the Roshan enterpriser and OK enterpriser as both the companies did not pay regulatory duty of Rs 0.7 million and Rs 0.5 million respectively. The companies misused the Pakistan Customs Tariff (PCT) 1000-0701 to clear four consignments of potatoes. The customs examination revealed that the PCT for Potatoes was 9000-0701 while the companies used 1000-0701 to save 25% regulatory duty.
