Customs Appraisement collects Rs9907.307m during March 2018

FAISALABAD: The Customs Appraisement surpassed the revenue collection target for during the month of March as it collected Rs 9907 million against assigned target of Rs 9685.11 million.

Sources told Customs Today, that Customs Appraisement was assigned revenue collection target of Rs 6846.62 million under the head of sales tax (ST) but it surpassed the target by 102.6 percent, as it collected Rs726.208 million during the said period.

Customs Appraisement collected Rs 2779.458 million under the head of customs duty (CD) against the set target of Rs 2731.66 million by achieving target up to 100.7 percent.

Sources told that Customs Appraisement generated Rs 101.401 million as income tax against the assigned target of Rs 104.89 million that was achieved up to 96.7 percent, while it collected Rs 0.241 million in wake of federal excise duty (FED) against the target of Rs1.94 million during the said period.
