HANOI: South Asia with more than 160 million people, a rapidly growing economy and a growing number of high-income people, Bangladesh is becoming an increasingly attractive market for Vietnamese travel agencies. They have examined the South Asian market and established partnerships with Bangladeshi partners to lure more Bangladeshi tourists to Vietnam.
Among those efforts, ATE Vietnam Travel Company participated in the Bangladesh Travel and Tourism Fair 2018 in Dhaka, from April 19-21, and Vietnam’s pavilion at the event attracted great attention from the local community.
Minister of Civil Aviation and Tourism of Bangladesh Shajahan Kamal expressed his interest in Vietnam’s tourism products and destinations, saying that both countries have advantages and opportunities to enhance their cooperation in the field of tourism, with a good tradition of friendship and many similarities in terms of history, culture and the climate.
