Quetta Customs generates Rs2743m extra Customs Duty during nine months & 21 days

ISLAMABAD: The MCC Quetta earned Rs2743million additional revenue of CD during July to 21th of April FY17-18 against the same corresponding FY16-17.

According to details given by Ashraf Ali, Collector, Model Customs Collectorate, (MCC) Islamabad that, during above said duration, the Collectorate of Quetta showed satisfactory performance against the identical previous period. The Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) Quetta received Rs6870.562million under the head of CD during 1st of July to 21st of April FY17-18 while it generated Rs4126.775million under the same head during the identical duration of FY16-17.
The MCC Quetta collected Rs377.481million during first three weeks of April FY17-18 as CD whereas it received Rs362.069million under the same head during the same period of corresponding FY16-17. The collectorate got Rs759.706million of CD during the month of March FY17-18 while it did Rs558.343million under the identical head during the same previous period.
The collector told CT that the Collectorate of Quetta fetched Rs703.544million under the head of CD during the month of February FY17-18 whereas it received Rs435.229million under the same head during the same period of corresponding period. The MCC Quetta earned Rs854.172million as CD during the month of January FY17-18 while it did Rs533.069million under the same head during the identical corresponding duration.
During the month of December FY17-18, the collectorate generated Rs912.948million of CD while it collected Rs491.913million under the same head during the identical previous period. During the month of November FY17-18, the MCC Quetta received Rs854.174million under the head of CD while it received Rs445.603million under the identical head during the same period of corresponding period.
