Customs Court grants bail to accused involved in auto parts smuggling

MULTAN: The Special Federal Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling has granted bail of suspect involved in smuggling of auto parts.

According to the details, accused Nasrullah was arrested for smuggling of auto spare parts in the region. Multan Customs’ Anti-Smuggling Organization raided a warehouse in Bahawalpur where accused stored huge quantity of smuggled auto parts and he was supplying them to the South Punjab. Customs Anti–Smuggling Organization team which comprised of Inspector Ghulam Asghar, Rana Mujtaba Noon and others took action on the direction of Collector Ambreen Ahmad Tarar in which they recovered huge quantity of smuggled auto parts.

The accused informed Customs that he brought smuggle goods from Bilal Gunj Lahore and supplier sold him foreign origin auto parts. He is running a auto shop with the name of Mashallah Auto Spare Parts in Bahawalpur and he is not involved in any act of smuggling.
