Faisalabad Adjudication issues show-cause notice to accused involved in smuggling

FAISALABAD: Customs Adjudication Deputy Collector Saima Ayyaz on Wednesday issued a show-cause notice to the owner of non-customs paid mesh and polythene bags, Sanaullah.

Sources told to Customs Today that the Customs Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO) Mianwali Superintendent Sardar Muhammad Choudhary along with teams established pickets near M.M Alam Road Mianwali and intercepted a Hino Ranger truck which was coming from Peshawar to Bhakkar and recovered smuggled mesh and polythene bags.

Customs Mianwali forwarded the case to Customs Adjudication department. Now Deputy Collector Customs Adjudication Saima Ayyaz has issued a show-cause notice to Sana Ullah who is a resident of Sargodha.

The authority also directed if the owner failed to provide evidence the case will be decided on the basis of evidence available on demand.
