FBR team inspects official vehicles of Multan Customs

MULTAN: Special technical team visited Customs Collectorate Multan and examined the vehicles which are under use for execution of official tasks.

According to details, special team of Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) from Islamabad came to Multan Customs for inspecting vehicles which are being used by officials. They conducted inspection to assess technical condition of vehicles. They also inspected various vehicles which are under the use of Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO) for conducting their operations.

The aim of the inspection is to verify that declared facilities are available to ASO and they are well-equipped with vehicles which can chase smugglers in any case and if they found any vehicle unfit during their technical inspection then they will recommend Multan Customs Collectorate to replace said vehicle with able-bodied vehicle which will assist them in their routine activities in accordance with law.

Special technical team will submit their report very soon to the FBR and operational vehicles will be upgraded or replaced in light of their recommendations.
