KARACHI: The Sindh High Court has ordered provisional release of 22 dumper trucks.
A SHC customs appellate bench, comprising Justice Aqeel Ahmed Abassi and Ashraf Jahan, earlier heard counsel for petitioner Haji Ashanullah. Ms Dil Khurram Shaheen advocate drew the attention of the court toward an earlier order under which 22 dumper trucks were ordered to be released provisionally.
The counsel for Pakistan Customs opposed the plea vehemently but the court said that in view of earlier order, the vehicles in question need to be released. The bench ordered provisional release of vehicles observing that controversy would be decided finally in SCRA.
