SIALKOT: Six bankers were arrested by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) for involvement in Rs 62.6 million fraud.
Qaiser Mahmood, Muhammad Abrar Ibrahim, Amjad Mahmood, Muhammad Khuda Yar, Amir Ali and Tahir Mahmood were arrested from the Pasrur Branch of Habib Bank Limited.
FIA Divisional Deputy Director Mufakhar Adeel said that the suspects made fake transactions from a number of account holders and stole Rs62.6 million.
The suspects have been imprisoned after a fraud case was registered against them.
