ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) extended the date for submission of sales tax and federal excise duty (FED) till May 22, 2018.
According to notification issued by Second Secretary (ST&FE Law,A&R) Javaid Hussain Butt in exercise of the powers conferred under section 74 of the Sales Tax Act, 1990 and section 43 of the Federal Excise Act, 2005, the Federal Board of Revenue is please to extend the date of payment of sales tax and federal excise duty utpto 20.6.2018 and due date of submission of sales and federal excise return upto 22nd June for the tax period of May, 2018 due to Eid-ul-Fitr holidays.
