Multan Customs generates Rs5.5m from auction of NDP vehicles, goods

MULTAN: The Customs Collectorate generated Rs.5.5 million from auction of confiscated vehicles and miscellaneous goods.

According to details, Multan Customs conducted auction for the disposal of  confiscated vehicles and miscellaneous goods. Multan Customs offered five various lots of confiscated vehicles for public sale including Toyota Land Cruiser TX Prado jeep, Suzuki Alto, Nissan oil tanker (empty) and others.

Only two vehicles were sold out successfully in approximately Rs.2.7 million during auction. Remaining vehicles were not sold due to fewer prices offered by bidders.

The Customs Collectorate has also offered various confiscated lots of miscellaneous goods including foreign origin auto brushing, welding electrodes, old and used telephone sets of different brands, memory cards, CCTV cameras, dry UPS batteries, window air conditioners blankets, cloth, rugs, satellite HD box and others.

Customs sold out various miscellaneous items in Rs.2.8 million during auction. These presented vehicles and goods were seized by Anti-Smuggling Organization in their various actions in the jurisdiction. Assistant Collector Muhammad Ikram, Inspector Muhammad Asif supervised whole auction process.
