Customs Preventive seizes 607 betel nut bags worth Rs7.4m from Lyari

KARACHI: The Anti-smuggling Organization (ASO) of Model Customs Collectorate (MCC), Preventive has recovered 607 bags of betel nuts worth Rs 7.4 million from Lyari area.

According to details, the action was taken on a tip-off, which revealed that substantial quantity of betel nuts were dumped in the residential area of Lyari. Taking action on this information, the preventive staff conducted a raid at the place and recovered 607 bags of betel nuts worth Rs 7.4m.
