Faisalabad Appraisement collects Rs13279.761m duty taxes in FY 2018.

FAISALABAD: The Customs Appraisement collected Rs13279.761 million duty and taxes during 12 months of financial year 2018 against the assigned target of Rs13922.63 million for the period under review.

Sources told Customs Today that the Collectorate collected Rs 3830.246 million under the head of customs duty (CD) till June 30th against the assigned target of Rs3998.82 million. While it collected Rs9315.853 million under the head of sales tax (ST) during the above mentioned period against the assigned target of Rs9789.74 million.

Similarly the Collectorate collected Rs0.241 million income tax (IT) during the 12 months of Fiscal Year 2018 against the assigned target of Rs 132.13 million while it collected Rs133.521 million federal excise duty (FED) from July 2017 to June 2018 against the target of Rs1.94 million.

The sources further said that Collector Mirza Mubashir Baig has instructed all the staff from top to bottom to put maximum efforts to meet next financial year targets with best efforts.
