ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court on Friday issued a notice to NAB, regarding the hearing of the appeal filed by the Sharif family against the Avenfield reference.
The High Court’s order reads that the appeal filed by Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz and Captain Safdar has been accepted and NAB has been instructed to appoint someone on the case regarding the appeal.
The appeal regarding the suspension of Nawaz Sharif’s sentence and the discrepancies present in the prosecution’s case will be heard after the Court resumes work post elections in the last week of July.
