Russian customs return stolen Lamborghini to German resident

Russia:The Federal Customs Service returned a Lamborghini Aventador – one of the most expensive cars in the world, which had been stolen and taken to Russia – to its owner, a resident of Germany. The cost of the car is 23 million rubles ($362,365).

The elite car was confiscated by customs officers from a Russian who imported it without paying the necessary duties worth 6.5 million rubles ($102,407). A criminal case was initiated against the offender. During the investigation, the customs officers assisted by Moscow police officers and representatives of Interpol found out that the car had not only been illegally brought to Russia but was reported stolen. July 20, the Lamborghini was returned to Germany, to its rightful owner.
