FBR mourns late DGTR additional director Taimur Aman

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue has announced deep regret over the sad demise of Taimur Aman, a BS-19 officer of Inland Revenue Service.

At the time of his death, the officer was posted as Additional Director, Directorate General of Training & Research (IR), Lahore.

Taimur Aman was born on January 25, 1981 and joined civil service on January 15, 2005 and underwent training with the 32nd Common Training Programme. He was a graduate of various illustrious educational institutions including Government College University, Lahore, Institute of Business Administration, Karachi and National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies, Tokyo. He was also a Hubert Humphrey Fellow at the Michigan State University, USA, where he pursued a course in Human Resource Management.

The officer served at various important positions during his career, spanning a period of over 13 years including various field formations of the Inland Revenue Service. He was a thorough professional with reputation of being an honest, diligent and hard working officer, having complete command over Income Tax, Sales Tax and Federal Excise laws and procedures.

The Government of Pakistan wishes to place on record its deep appreciation of the dedicated services rendered by the deceased to the department as well as to his country.

In expressing its grief on his untimely death, the Government of Pakistan conveys its heartfelt condolences to all members of the bereaved family and his friends. May his soul rest in eternal peace and may Allah Almighty give patience and fortitude to them to bear this irreparable loss.
