PESHAWAR: The Customs Collectorate is going to hold auction of 30 confiscated vehicles and goods which were seized during the month of July on August 7.
Sources told Customs Today, that all these vehicles are of different models which were impounded at different customs check posts during the month of July of Fiscal Year 2018-19.
The confiscated vehicles which are being kept at Customs Ware House Peshawar are seven in number which include two moter bikes and Honda Accord car model 1987, Mercedes Benz bullet proof, Honda Accord motor car 1985, Mercedes Benz truck model 1995, Toyota Corolla Xli motor car model, Toyota Crown car model 2005, Hino truck model 2003, Toyota Mark 2 car model 2003, motor cycle CD, 70 Hero motorcycle CD 70 made in Pakistan.
The vehicles will be presented for auctioned in order to generate extra revenue for the customs exchequer, one vehicle has been kept at State Ware House Dry Port which is eight seater electric shuttle bus motor cars.
Sources said that four vehicles were confiscated by Abbottabad Customs which had been kept at State Ware House Abbottabad and will be presented for auction in order to generate extra revenue.
These cars include Suzuki FX car model 1983, Toyota Land Cruiser, Prado 1994, Toyota Hilux Surf model 2001, Toyota Hiace van model 1997.
Total 16 vehicles are already parked at Customs Ware House Frontier Corps (FC) which will also be auctioned on 7th August to generate extra revenue for customs exchequer. These cars include Toyota Corolla car model 2007, Daewoo car model 1992, Toyota Corolla car, 1992 pick up model 1998, Toyota Land Cruiser model 1988, Toyota Mark 1 motor car model nil, motor car model 1978, state car model 1987, Toyota Corolla model 1999, VXR car model 1999, Toyota Corolla car model, Suzuki Pick Up model 1980, Mercedes Prime, Toyota model 1998 and Suzuki car.
The customs team also confiscated NDP goods including cloths, polyester cloth, LED, TV sets, car mirrors, spare parts, seats, tyres including other valuable goods which were brought Pakistan by different hidden ways.
