Additional Collector Asma issues show cause notice to owner of NDP vehicle

FAISALABAD: Additional Collector Adjudication Asma Hameed issued show cause notice to owner of non-duty paid Mazda mini truck.

As per the details, Field Investigation Unit of Sara-i-Mjuhajir, impounded Mazda mini truck bearing registration no: TKS-120 Lasbela.

During the checking of vehicles, the Customs Intelligence team intercepted a Mazda mini truck but the driver escape from the spot taking advantages of the darkness. However customs team recovered some documents of vehicle who belonged to Tahir Hussain. The customs intelligence officials impounded the vehicle.

Customs Adjudication Additional Collector Asma Hameed also served a show cause notice on accused person namely Tahir Hussain who allegedly involved in smuggling of Mazda truck.

The Customs Adjudication issued notices to accused person on the violation of Section 10-A 89(1) and 156(1) of the Customs Act 1969.
