Faisalabad Customs collects Rs811.489m revenue during July

FAISALABAD: Customs Collectorate Appraisement collected Rs811.489 million in wake of duty taxes during the month of July 2018.

Sources told to Customs Today, under the supervision of Collector Mirza Mubashir Baig the Customs Appraisement collected Rs 263.819 millions in shape of customs duty during the said period.

It collected Rs535.570 million as sales tax, besides generating Rs12.075 million in wake of income tax whereas it is also generated Rs 0.024 millions in federal excise duty.

It is necessary to mention here that the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has not yet assigned any revenue target for financial year 2018.

Collector Mirza Mubashir Baig said that Customs Appraisement Faisalabad already send notices to a number of tax defaulters in recent months asking them to clear outstanding tax dues at the earliest to avoid stern action.
